Sankara Swedam

The procedure which influences us to sweat to is called 'Swedana'. This is the second phase of Panchakarma. There are two noteworthy sorts of swedana.

Before sweating treatment, eyes are secured with clean materials, a bundle of wheat flour or leaves of Kamala (lotus) and Utpala (Nymphaea alba) or Palasha (Butea monosperma). Essentially Heart is to be secured with cool pearl neckbands, cool utensils, Lotuses, wet water or just by the touch of chilly hands.
